Health and Safety Executive (HSE) statistics reveal that between 2001 —2006 there were over 21,000 injuries in the workplace in the UK involving fork lift trucks. Of these, 94 were fatal, 5,758 were major and 15,338 resulted in people being off work for 3 or more days.
